Hand Pump Test Programme - Final Report (1981) + Follow-up reports (1986) 3000 Well Drilling Programme in Southern and Central Ghana

This report deals with the Hanpud Test Programme which was part of the Consulting Engineering Services for the 2000 Well Drilling Programmes in Southern and Central Ghana. The Federal Republic of Germany has financed the offshore costs of this project by a grant and loan; the onshore tests were financed by the Republic of Ghana through the Ghana Water and Sewerage Corporation, the project Sponsor.
After the draft of the present report, the Federal Republic of Germany has financed the setting up of a Maintenance Unit for the 3000 Well Drilling Prohrahhem, to training GWSC personnel and to practically execute the maintenance and repair of the pumps. The final report of this project, expected in 1986, will give further information on the experience gained with the selected pumps.
