WaterAid transforms lives by improving access to clean water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities. We work with local partners and influence decision-makers to maximise our impact. Our vision is of a world where everyone, everywhere has safe and sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene - for good.

The Water Point Mapper is a free tool for producing maps showing the status of water supply services. It is aimed at water, sanitation, hygiene practitioners as well as local governments working at the district and sub-district levels in Sub-Saharan Africa. The Mapper has been designed for use in situations where there is no internet connectivity.
The Water Point Mapper was developed by WaterAid.
Led by WaterAid in Australia, in collaboration with the WASH Reference Group, this project aims to provide practical skills and evidence to support practitioners’ implementation of WASH projects that address the needs of all in the community.
Together with Earthwatch, WaterAid and WWF, the HSBC Programme will deliver the powerful combination of water provision, protection, information and education; resulting in the most ground-breaking water programme committed to by a financial organisation. The Programme will benefit communities in need and enable economies to prosper, driving development and socio-economic growth.
