Information

The German WASH Network is an initiative of German NGOs, which focus on development cooperation or humanitarian emergency relief and rehabilitation, and are actively engaged in the WASH sector. The member organisations share the vision that all people on our planet have sustainable access to safe water and sanitation and independently practice all the elementary principles of hygiene. Main working areas include:

- Representation of common interests 

- Public relations for WASH 

- Quality control and knowledge exchange 

- Project cooperation 

- Improved interaction between humani- 
tarian emergency relief and development cooperation 


Many of the German WASH Network member organisations do have a particular focus on rural water supply.
