Draft Specifications for Arsenic Field Test Kit for Drinking Water

Description:

This specifications prescribes requirements of field test kit for assessing total arsenic (As III and AsV) in drinking water with a range 10 to 100 ppb (0.01 to 0.1 mg/L) in drinking water. It includes chemistry of test, constituents of kit, preparation of reagents and detection tube, performance tests on chemicals and reagents, quality of chemicals and kit reagents used, construction details of equipment, internal quality control, external quality control, conformity for acceptance, packaging and guarantee.
