Description:

The objective of the position paper is to share learnings from the DESPRO experience on establishing sustainable water supply and sanitation (WSS) services in Ukraine, and provide recommendations for strategic policy dialogue in the WSS sector in Ukraine.

This position paper identifies a range of regulatory and legal measures to support local WSS services provision, in relation to national and local sector policy, management models for WSS operators, licensing, taxation and construction and design standards.
