ACRA-CCS is a non-governmental, non-profit, and independent European Foundation accredited by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the EuropeAid. Since 1968, ACRA-CCS supports the fight against poverty through sustainable, innovative and shared solutions and with a main focus on Natural Resources and Education. ACRA’s areas of intervention are the peripheries of the planet and the marginalized segments of the North and South of the world.

Where water and sanitation are concerned, ACRA-CCS provides hardware and software support to the service delivery through strong and operational partnerships with grass-roots organizations, community-based and private service providers and authorities. Emphasis is also placed on learning, sharing experience and knowledge management, by cooperating with national civil society networks, building strategic partnerships with international organisations and participating in thematic debates.
