Kigoma Press Club (KGPC) is an organisation of Journalists in Kigoma region who have joined efforts to advance socioeconomic development through media engagement. Currently there are 32 members (21 male, 11 female). The organisation was established in 2005 with registration number 12954. The Kigoma Press Club is based in Kigoma-Ujiji municipality.

Some objectives of KGPC are:
-To defend and promote the professionalism and welfare of its members.
-To defend and promote the principle and practice of journalism with particular reference to the code of conduct as laid by Word Congress of professionals of the International Federation of journalists and amended by the 1986 Word Congress.
-To promote media development, freedom and diversity in Kigoma region with emphasis on training to take appropriate steps to safeguard freedoms where such freedoms are violated and seek to remove obstacles and barriers to the free flow of information as laid down in Article 19 of the universal Declaration of Human Right and Article 18 of the constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania.
-To defend and promote equality of opportunity for all its members and the elimination of discrimination on the ground of age, sex, race, color, creed, illegitimacy, disability and marital status.
