Ask for Water GmbH was founded in 2020 by Dr. Kerstin Danert. She provides research, consulting, facilitation and knowledge management services as well as training and curriculum development for governments, non-government organisations (NGOs), funding agencies and research institutions who are involved in international development cooperation. The focus is on water supplies, and groundwater in low- and middle-income countries.

Ask for Water GmbH works in partnership with its clients through genuine dialogue to address pressing global concerns in water, environment, climate and human livelihoods. The company combines science, engineering, social science and the arts.
