This paper proposes a one-time investment for the creation of a profitable business that offers safe drinking water and clean energy products to low-income communities.
Willingness-to-pay for drinking water is low in Madagascar but in contrast, energy products are highly desirable. Combining water with energy in one product package is crucial to the business model being proposed.
